Women's Morning Together - Workshops
You may select two workshops when you register, one at 9:45am and one at 11:00am. Each workshop is offered at both times. Please do not sign up for the same one twice!

A. In the Flow:  The Healing Art of Yoga

THIS WORKSHOP IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE; PLEASE CHOOSE TWO OTHERS

B.  Stamp Out Stress!
During this fun workshop, you will have the opportunity to make three hand-stamped greeting cards, allowing you to express your creativity and slow down long enough to enjoy yourself--without the guilt, because you'll have beautiful creations to share with your family and friends!  We will make a birthday card, a thank you card, and a card you can choose from a variety of sentiments.  All supplies provided.

Presenter:  Lori Fahs, Stampin' Up Demonstrator

Rev. Nicole Snyder, Grace United Methodist Church, Naperville, IL

C. Centering Prayer:  Re-focus Your Life with God
Come learn and practice a way to listen to God in your life.  Through the daily practice of Centering Prayer, we can deepen our relationship with the living Christ, moving beyond conversation with Him to communion with Him.  Time spent daily in Centering Prayer can also enhance other forms of contemplative prayer, Scriptural reflection, and intercessary prayer.

Presenter: Rev. Im Jung, Ordained Elder in the Wisconsin Conference of the United Methodist Church

Joan Wessling Rocchi, Grace United Methodist Church, Naperville, IL

D.Growing and Cooking with Herbs
Learn how to grow beautiful herbs, then cook wonderful foods using your own home-grown herbs!  This workshop is based on classes our presenter offers at Williams-Sonoma stores and, if we're lucky, will feature some of her famous recipes from the family's cookbook!

Presenter: Ms. Joan Wessling Rocchi, Perennial Manager, The Growing Place

E. Daily Journaling for Daily Grace
THIS WORKSHOP IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE; PLEASE CHOOSE TWO OTHERS

F. Letting Go and Letting God
Come and learn ways to regain your freedom--from guilt, shame and anxieties that keep you from experiencing God's peace.  Scripture, prayer, and other Christian means of grace offer us hope, as we let go of all that tholds us down and open up to let God into our lives.

Presenter: Rev. C. Kay Turner, Ordained Elder and Pastor at Faith United Methodist Church in Lisle
