| One component of the wedding service that is always important to couples, as well as their parents, is the music. Grace's Principal Organist, Nancy Staton, leads Wedding Music Seminars every few months, inviting all couples who are scheduled to be married at Grace. Nancy talks with them about the wedding being a service of worship and how the music serves this purpose. Couples are given lists of recommended processional and recessional music, congregational hymns, and other possible service music. Examples are played, and couples are assisted in filling out a worksheet with their choices. Nancy also includes information and assistance with vocal soloists and instrumentalists. Our goal at Grace is that 30 years from now, as couples watch their wedding videos, they are happy with the choices they made today. It is our mission to help couples carry out their marriage covenant, so they may experience a day, and a life together, of great joy! |
