Bill Bryan, Parish Pastor Pastor Bill Bryan is in his second time of ministry at Grace Church, having served as Associate Pastor here from 1968-1972. He is a retired United Methodist elder of the Northern Illinois Conference. He has also served parishes at Gibson City, Granite City, East Jordan Church near Sterling, Palos Heights, Elmhurst and Palatine. In addition, he served for six years as District Superintendent in the Chicago Southern District. He retired from full time service in 1996.
Pastor Bryan received his training at Eastern Illinois University and Evangelical Theological Seminary (now Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary). He has done additional study at Spertus College of Judaica in Chicago, and at Chicago Theological Seminary.
His ministry at Grace Church includes visitation, assisting in worship leadership, teaching, and fulfilling other pastoral duties as requested by the appointed pastors. He and his wife, Erma, have four children and four grandchildren.
