Job Posting:  Grace Seeks Full-Time Youth Director  

Grace Church's Youth Ministry Search Committee is seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministries.  We seek to foster a community of youth and adults sharing and growing in faith in Christ...to create an environment that encourages trust in God and each other...to encourage the development of an individual and collective sense of purpose and meaning in the Holy Spirit.  We wish to empower our young people to accept leadership and service in the community as well as our adult leadership team in their walk with the Lord.  We seek to lead by example and engage by participation.  We desire a person called by God to share Christ with others, to be "real" with junior and senior high-aged youth, and to walk this journey of faith together with us.  Our current youth ministry is built upon Sunday morning Sunday School, mid-week and Sunday evening meeting times, retreats, and significant summer mission trips.  This summer, we will take over 110 youth and adults on youth-sponsored mission trips to New Orleans and Indianapolis.  The position of Youth Director requires at least a four-year college degree and fours years of related experience in paid or volunteer positions.  United Methodist Certification in Youth Ministry and Seminary is also a plus.  Salary and benefits are commensurate with the community of Naperville, Illinois, and candidate qualifications.  For more information, contact Senior Pastor Rev.
